Jacy FiskHello Everyone! Here’s a little fact about me… I’m in a metal band!!! We have a vocalist, 2 guitarists, a drummer, and a bassist… ME! Metal is one of my most favorite genres of music so being in this band is so much fun! So far we have played 6 gigs and we have our 7th one booked for March 21st. We used to play all covers but now we are beginning to combine some originals in the setlist. Our next set is looking to be about 30 mins of music, 2 Deftones covers and 5 original songs ranging from emo pop, nu metal, and hardcore slam. I am very excited to share how it goes with this community. I love being in a band so much because its like being part of a family. It doesn’t matter if its a school band, jazz ensemble, or a metal band. No matter what genre it is, music brings people together. I didn’t used to see my bandmates as friends… We didn’t even know each other until about a year ago! But now, they all are like brothers to me. This is why I love music.
