Join us in Lakeland, Florida (KLAL).
The first BIG aviation event of 2025 is fast approaching – Sun ‘n Fun – April 1 – 6, 2025. The Light Aircraft Manufacturers Association (LAMA) is happy to support the Flying Musicians in the LSA Mall in Paradise City during Sun ‘n Fun. Contact John@FlyingMusicians.org immediately to get your credentials and participate.
We will be under Lil’ Blue, a star-tent provided by the DeLand Airport. The stage this year is provided by the (soon to be announced) The Sound System provided by BOSE. There will be SONY and Sennheiser microphones available as well as AirTurn mic stands. A huge thank you to Lockwood Aviation Supplies for storing and transporting the PA system.
- ATTENTION: Keyboard and Percussion Instruments
We have lost the use of a keyboard and drum kit. Your assistance to acquire usage of both for the week is needed. There is a locked storage unit to secure the gear.
As of today, we will have a bass guitar and extra guitars available all week. Drummers / percussionist, please bring a cajon and or additional percussion instruments: tambourines, shakers, cow bells, etc.
Confirmed to perform: The FMA Brass, Byron & Nancy, Denny Kotz, John Street, Doug Byrd, Bob Schwindt as well as others soon to be announced.
To date, Denny Kotz, Doug Byrd, and John have agree to be at the tent all week to provide daily outreach with Impromptu music and lots of hangar flying. Want to help? Whether for a few hours or a few days, contact us to sign-up and get your FREE credentials. ALL musicians are encouraged to stop by and share their time and talents or just to say hello.
