Achilles HennessyHello FMA! In the recent weeks I have had quite the eventful end of school year and beginning of summer! By the time my senior year ended, I had been awarded the Music Student of the Year award and the National Choral Award! I also conducted my own choral composition at the End of Year Concert! “I Choose to Sing” was a major hit among the students, parents, and several members of our school district music program and even the university here in Wyoming! Meet the 2023 FMA Solo Scholarship Recipient
What a banner year! Having received nearly triple the nominees of any of the previous years, the process to select finalists was a long and arduous task. Many nominees found the checklist to be important and followed it to the tee. Some decided, after reflecting, that perhaps this wasn’t something they really wanted. In any event, all nominees belong to the largest collection of passionate pilot-musicians in the world. A network beneficial for advancing their goals in aviation and music.
