By the time my senior year ended, I had been awarded the Music Student of the Year award and the National Choral Award! Madison AkridgeA lot has happened in the past two months, and I thought I might fill everyone in. At the beginning of March, Seda Voca, one of the choirs I am a part of, went to Jazz Contest and received a gold rating. Our set consisted of Till There Was You by Meredith Wilson (Arranged by Kirby Shaw), Chili Con Carne by The Real Group (Music and Lyrics by Anders Edenroth), and Sing, Sing, Sing by Louis Prima (Arranged by Anita Cracauer).
