The New York Hot Jazz camp is in full swing. Campers with perform at the GOTHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL (gothamjazzfestnyc.com) this Sunday, April 16th at 60 Pine St.
The GOTHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL is an annual all-day music festival featuring over a dozen of New York City’s best hot jazz, swing, & blues bands at the stunning & exclusive private club from the Gilded Age, The Players Club.
The Festival was founded in 2017 by Prohibition Productions (producer Patrick Soluri), and produced its first Festival at the Players Club on April 23, 2017 with over 100 musicians and a dozen bands. Starting in 2018 Prohibition Productions partnered with New York Hot Jazz Camp (directed by Bria Skonberg & Molly Ryan) to feature performances by their incredible faculty, students, & alumni during the first half of the festival… and both the 2018 & 2019 Festivals sold out!
FMA announced this year (2023) the Swing Wing scholarship for members to further their musical experience and skills at the NYHotJazz camp. Get your application in NOW for 2024 FMA Swing Wing scholarship.
